Job description

Bachelor’s degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.

Considerable experience with statistical analysis of health outcomes.

Experience with geocoding, particularly regarding data quality, and the application of GIS in health disparity research.

Strong SAS programming skills
- Well-rounded knowledge of biostatistics and epidemiology

Organizational skills to function independently, keep track of multiple projects, work to meet specific deadlines, and document procedures

Knowledge of methods in cancer surveillance
-
Oral and written communication skills to communicate and convey information/data effectively at a professional level with a diverse group of individuals/public
- Advanced skills and demonstrated experience with GIS software
-
Advanced skills and demonstrated experience with research design and analysis

Masters level education in epidemiology, statistics, biostatistics, or a public health-related field is highly desirable

Experience with electronic data linkages highly desirable

Experience with Seer*Prep software highly desirable

Experience with cancer registry data and operations is highly desirable
- This position may be subject to a criminal background investigation, drug screen, Live Scan fingerprinting, medical evaluation clearance, and functional capacity assessment.
