We are looking for an energetic, community-minded connector and promoter. You're ideal for this role if you would be thrilled to mobilize diverse communities across the country to recruit kind people from their area to be employed as community health workers (CHWs). CHWs are altruistic people from local communities who support people facing health inequity. They help their clients improve their lives and health.

Key Responsibilities

You will be laser-focused on spreading the word about IMPaCT CHW job opportunities within communities. IMPaCT has a friendly, game-like mobile app that pays community participants for candidate referrals and hires. Your goal is to generate community enthusiasm and paid participation in CHW recruitment efforts for their area. The recruitment app is one of your tools.

Your work will be big picture and grass-roots. Big picture: you will create our national playbook to generate awareness and high-yield participation for CHW recruitment within local communities (i.e., a high number of referrals can be hired). Grass roots: you will get to know local communities and their key influencers in order to quickly mobilize community members and organizations to recruit people from their area to be employed as CHWs.

• Build and navigate social media and community networks to recruit candidates for CHW employment
• Track key performance metrics and troubleshoot to achieve results

Preferred Experience & Skills

To be successful in this role, you must be a self-starter who is energized by making connections with people. You are passionate about social justice, health equity, and the power of building community. You must enjoy a brisk pace to your work and the feel of a start-up culture.

• 3+ years of event planning with demonstrated ability to organize and manage events successfully from start to finish
• Track record of managing projects independently from concept to completion
• Prior work as a community organizer or civic engagement leader/project manager
• Demonstrated success using social media to achieve high turnout for events
• Highly organized, able to juggle multiple projects with excellent attention to detail, and ability to quickly pivot from one project to the next
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic organization where flexibility, collaboration, and creative thinking are valued
• Ability to travel (up to 25%) to communities in the U.S. to design and deliver hiring campaigns
• Party-promotion experience a plus
