Audubon is currently seeking a Commissioning Manager to join our team. The Commissioning Manager is responsible for startup and commissioning new and/or used equipment supplied within the AFS product lines. This may include OTJ (on-the-job) training of company and/or client personnel. And in some situations, SOP (standard operating procedures) may need to be reviewed and/or revised for specific equipment, prior to startup.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee Pre commissioning and commissioning activities on behalf of Client
  • Work with operations for Startup review and readiness
  • Arrange and oversee the Vendor startup and commissioning activities
  • Arrange first fills
  • Write Commissioning plan and procedures for review and acceptance of client
  • Assist Operations in manual writing with operation procedures
  • Organize and review punchlist walk downs of systems for handover to operations from Construction
  • Manage punchlist closure
  • Manage the Commissioning team
  • Reviewing and/or editing of technical procedures for safe operation, startup/shutdown of equipment, trouble-shooting techniques, and general maintenance of production equipment.
  • Needs to be able to direct and lead a team of highly specialized personnel, in a cohesive and methodical plan of scheduled commissioning & startup activities, to ensure safe operations of all supplied and installed equipment.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 12 years' experience as a commissioning manager in oil and gas processing facilities
  • Experience with writing operations procedures and Commissioning procedures.
  • Experience in PSM/PSSR handovers
  • Some engineering experience would be helpful (CE, PE).
  • High level of practical knowledge of oil/gas production equipment, gas processing, fractionation, separation, dehydration, fluids/gas measurement, and oil/gas properties required.
  • Ability to develop punch-lists and categorize critical elements.
  • Hands-on ability to perform safe-work practices and hold oneself & others accountable.
  • Must possess good verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a team player, capable of working in remote areas, with little to no supervision.
  • Must be diversified enough to work with a multi-national work force.
  • Management experience from a field perspective, utilizing schedule, cost, and manpower derivatives Execute and/or manipulate a Level-5 schedule.
  • Trouble-shoot abnormal process situations in oil/gas equipment Ability to read & interrupt P&ID and PFD drawings.
