Job Description/Responsibilities:
The National Accounts Commercial Analyst - Off Premise will lead reporting and analysis of National Accounts volume performance. The role will lead annual planning, contribute to the development of strategic business plans, support price promotion and margin analysis, and manage pricing portals / trackers.

  • Lead volume and spend planning process for the off premise National Accounts team. Create and maintain template based on guidance from Commercial Finance and AOP task force. Consolidate and analyze rollup of total National Accounts plan. Track & measure business plan initiatives & KPIs to ensure National Account team is on target to deliver committed results.
  • Identify opportunities to improve revenue and profitability through review of programming versus brand standard strategies. Communicate company directives on price actions in alignment with strategy. Analyze present retail environment to ensure price-volume relationships are in line with brand strategy. Support price promotion & margin analysis. Manage pricing portals & trackers on short term basis with objective to create long term solutions or submit recommendations for alternative support
  • Establish & implement best practice reporting consisting of topline sales of total National Account landscape including volume, syndicated data, sales insights to deliver actionable output. Create templates & executive summaries to track core Sazerac initiatives. Develop, enhance & implement sales ways of working processes, templates for both internal & external use to drive efficiencies across the team & support accelerated growth ad hoc analyses & insights against tight deadlines in many instances
  • Enhance Sazerac’s market presence through detailed sales analysis and insights to drive key business decisions which requires leveraging tools such as internal depletions data, IRI/Nielsen, Category insights, and Retailer/Distributor data. Identify business opportunities across all channels & provide qualitative & quantitative analytic recommendations that will drive action. Lead Callpoint management: Maintain On and Off premise callpoint mapping, both offline and in VIP SRS and track / communicate changes to callpoint reporting.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic channel & business plans. Remain current on technical, industry and business issues and trends that affect the company and team’s sales efforts.
  • Participate in the implementation of any new analytic tools and processes. Utilize specific priority and project management techniques to ensure your work is on-time, on budget, and supports the goals of the group and Sazerac.
Qualifications/Requirements:

MUST HAVE:

  • Demonstrate the ability to work as a team as well as self-directed
  • Demonstrated ability to work quickly, mutli-task and effectively in demanding situations
  • Detail oriented and demonstrated ability to perform work with high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and technical skills including Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBi
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems / processes
  • Willingness to travel
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using internal and external data sources such as Nielsen and IRI
  • Minimum 3 years' of commercial sales analytics experience
  • CPG or alcohol beverage industry experience

PREFERRED:

  • Data modeling experience
  • National Account sales analysis experience
  • Price structure development and maintenance experience
Salary range - $69,000 - $104,000
  • Placement within the salary range is calculated based upon years of directly relatable experience for the position.
  • The salary range refers to base salary only and does not include car allowance, annual bonus, fuel or cell phone reimbursement.
