Commercial Finance Manager - International


Position Overview:

Johnsonville, LLC, a strong, high-growth company, has an excellent opportunity for an outstanding individual to join us as Commercial Finance Manager, International. The successful candidate will play a leadership role by partnering with the International team to support critical business decisions with financial insights and analysis. The candidate will be responsible for business unit financial planning and analytics and will have the opportunity to coach and develop members on the team.


Responsibilities:

  • Partner with International team leaders to develop and execute the strategic plan and annual operating plan, helping to manage the business using financial performance measures aimed at profitable growth
  • Provide leadership, coaching, innovative ideas, and oversight to the International team in the areas of financial planning, reporting, analytics, and decision support
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships at all levels and across all functions of the organization in order to provide meaningful financial and business analysis, insights and recommendations
  • Continuously learn the business including the competitive landscapes, sales and marketing strategies, operations and supply chain functions
  • Support the Regional and Country team leaders with financial modeling and analysis; collaborate with them to make financially sound decisions for new product and business development opportunities; be a passionate catalyst for driving value
  • Help drive impactful change management initiatives that continue to transform the business unit and finance function
  • Coach team members to build business acumen and simplify communication
  • Lead the development and integration of integrated business planning (IBP) and connected planning in the International business unit; Assisting in integration of IBP across affiliate businesses
  • Develop, consolidate, and communicate the monthly IBP forecast and monthly actual results for the International business unit ensuring that plans provide timely insights to financial trends, opportunities, risks, and contingencies as catalysts to proactive business management
  • Work together with the controllership and foreign subsidiary finance teams, ensure that strong accounting, treasury and control systems and processes are established and maintained, and that all US and foreign entity statutory compliance requirements are met
  • Maintain a flexible schedule in order to accommodate early-morning and early evening meetings with Asia markets


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; advanced degree or MBA preferred


Experience:

  • Seven or more (7+) years of accounting and finance experience required
  • International finance or business experience preferred
  • Experience and passion for leading, coaching and mentoring


Skills:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to instill confidence and trust
  • Demonstrated self-starter with a keen awareness of customer needs and action orientation
  • Demonstrated track record of strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Outstanding financial modeling and analytical skills, with demonstrated results in leveraging information systems
  • A willingness and desire to Coach for excellence other members on the team
  • Demonstrated, consistent professional growth; advancement potential and desire

Location: Global Headquarters, Sheboygan Falls, WI

(Our office is about an hour north of Milwaukee)

Travel: Travel to foreign markets to learn the business and build relationships

(1-2 trips per year)

Coach: Director of Finance – International

(We don’t have bosses at Johnsonville. We have Coaches. They are there to help you develop your talents. They cannot make you run laps.)
