Position Description:Directs, through intermediate personnel, workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.
Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to product quality and reliability
Participates in planning production schedules, technical requirements and manufacturing controls related to operations Investigates and adjusts customer complaints regarding quality
Perform emergency repairs on various types of machinery, including mechanical, electric, and hydraulic; identify and replace worn or damaged parts in a timely manner. Use a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions
Maintain machinery and the adjacent workplace in a state of appropriate cleanliness; create and maintain a schedule for inspection, service, and testing of machinery.
Read and comply with work orders concerning service, modification, or installation of machinery.
Identify parts needed for repairs. Coordinate creation of requisition for needed parts.
Coordinate need for other skilled trades for repairs.
Work effective with other team members in a loud environment.
Overtime is required as needed to complete repairs and facilitate production schedules. None -
