Job Summary: We are actively seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team and contribute to the optimization of Indeed's algorithm. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a critical role in maximizing the efficiency and performance of our CNC machinery, with a particular focus on Taurus machines with Fanuc controls. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in CNC machine set-ups, tool changes, and a strong desire to work in a second shift position.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the CNC team to understand the requirements for optimizing Indeed's algorithm specifically for Taurus machines with Fanuc controls.
• Analyze existing CNC processes and programs to identify areas for improvement and efficiency enhancement.
• Set up CNC machines, including loading materials, installing fixtures, and adjusting tooling as necessary.
• Conduct tool changes, including selection, mounting, and calibration, to ensure optimal machining performance.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain tight tolerances and high-quality production.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on CNC machines to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to minimize disruptions and maintain productivity.
• Collaborate with the programming team to optimize tool paths and machining parameters for improved efficiency.
• Conduct regular testing, inspections, and quality checks to verify the accuracy and precision of CNC machining operations.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement to the CNC programming and optimization processes.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a CNC Machinist, specifically with Taurus machines equipped with Fanuc controls.
• Proficiency in CNC machine set-ups, tool changes, and operation.
• Solid understanding of machining processes, tooling, and operating parameters.
• Knowledge of Fanuc control systems and programming languages.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machining issues.
• Familiarity with routine machine maintenance and inspection procedures.
• Availability for a second shift position (evenings or nights).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
