The CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant or CHHA – Certified Home Health Aide provides quality direct care to residents in an environment which promotes their rights, dignity, freedom of choice, and individuality. You will attend to the needs of residents which may include assistance with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care and other needs in keeping with the individuals’ care requirements. You will also provide individualized attention to residents encouraging their ability to maintain or attain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychological well-being.
CNA/CHHA Responsibilities:

• Provide quality resident care as indicated on the care plan

• Provide assistance to residents with activities of daily living

• Maintain a neat and homelike living environment for residents

• Work as a team member for assisting co-workers in the pursuit of service excellence

• Follow both organizational and regulatory policies and procedures

• Additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Must have either a current Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide Certification (CHHA) per state requirements

• High School Diploma or GED or 1-2 years of relevant experience

• The ability to work a full shift, come to work on time and work overtime as needed

• The ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation

• Must be able to pass a drug test

• Annual Flu shot vaccination required
