Position Summary
This is an onsite position in Austin, Texas
Thales is currently looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to join the team in Austin, Texas. In this position, you will report to the Cloud Security Manager.

Build security services to reinforce Thales products all over the world.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluating, designing, developing, creating proof of concept and implementing security-focused tools and services.
Supporting the company-defined cloud strategy.
Ensuring and advocating cloud security practices.
Driving engineering teams across all security practices.
Making sure about continuous Thales DIS Cloud improvements.
Identifying, raising and mitigating security weaknesses on Thales DIS Cloud infrastructure.
Required Skills and Experience
3+ years of experience building and architecting on Cloud-based Platforms.
Experience working on Cloud Provider Azure.
Experience working with Gitlab, Terraform and Kubernetes.
Experience in programming in Python.
Must have U.S. Citizenship in order to obtain the post-hire Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Clearance from the Federal Bureau of Investigation and must be able to obtain post-hire clearance from the Committee on Foreign Investments in the U.S. (CFIUS) and Department of Treasury.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related technical field of study.
Have a high interest for new technology.
Global knowledge on security.
Regulatory Compliance Requirements
