Job Type: Part-time or Full-time

Salary: $45,000 to $75,000 /yearly (based upon experience and caseload)

A New Life Services, Inc. provides clinical therapeutic services to children, adolescents, families and adults with identified mental health or substance abuse diagnosis in the Raleigh/Durham area. This service is designed to meet the specific mental health needs of the identified client as it relates to their diagnosis.

Outpatient therapy includes psycho- educational activities/interventions designed to assist the client in the reduction of symptoms, concerns and behaviors. Services are provided through client and family-centered approaches and are delivered through time-limited, goal specific interventions in the school, office, and/or home setting.

OUTPATIENT MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST:

- To provide Comprehensive Clinical Assessments. A clinical diagnosis will be given with a detailed description of the current symptoms and needs. Treatment recommendations will be made based on a thorough assessment. Clinicians may only diagnoses and provide services within their scope of training and expertise

-To provide therapeutic interventions to the identified client in identified setting; services may be provided in an individual, group, or family format as appropriate

-To track service delivery and efficacy of care

-To plan and coordinate transition of consumers, aftercare, and discharge summary.

-To continually assess client needs, service availability and work cooperatively with team and the family (as appropriate) in the provision of services to meet the goals developed in the Person Centered

-To provide the appropriate documentation for service delivery including treatment goals, progress notes and billing and submit said documentation as specified by Medicaid and specified agency

-Must be available for direct supervision as scheduled by Clinical Director monthly

-To complete all required documents for authorization of services

-To provide appropriate referrals and document these referrals if the clinician or agency is unable to provide appropriate services

Prerequisites:

• Must possess a Master’s degree with a license in a Mental Health field to include any of the following: PhD, Psychologist, Psychiatrist, LCMHC, LCMHCA, LCSW, LMFT, and related licensure
• Credentialed with Alliance Behavioral Healthcare, Cardinal Innovations, Partners and BCBS (preferred but not required)
• Two years of professional experience working with the population served by the agency (preferred but not required)
• Must professionally and confidentially manage all consumer information
• Must complete criminal background and healthcare registry checks

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
