Job Title: Know Your Client (KYC) Analyst

Overview

Depositary Receipts is a market leader specializing in administering cross-border equity structures such as American and global depositary receipts. It also offers paying agency, AGM, and advisory services for German and non-German companies listed on the German stock exchange. Corporate Trust is a market leader in providing trustee and agency services to both the short and long-term debt issuances for corporate and FI issuers. You will be responsible for the completion of new client adoption (NCA) and periodic review (PR) of depositary receipts and corporate trust clients. You will develop a clear understanding of KYC policy requirements and work with salespersons and other internal stakeholders to understand deal structure and identify NCA target parties.

What You'll Do:

  • Responsible for reviewing and ensuring all required KYC regulatory requirements for new and existing clients are met

  • Liaise with clients, internal client services teams, compliance, and operations as necessary as part of the KYC process to ensure transactions and queries are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner

  • Completing client outreach, participating in internal and external calls to facilitate the case completion, monitor various on-boarding applications and update all edit requests by client services to DMS

  • Oversight and monitoring of regular reviews, working closely with infrastructure partners and assisting ACO to complete their reviews

  • Responsible for event driven reviews, liaising with ACO’s to remediate where necessary, timely escalation of client or operational problems to manager/department head as necessary

  • Help and assist with management presentations and MIS interfacing with other teams and systems, support wider KYC/onboarding teams, client services teams and wider business on an ongoing basis

Skills You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree, relevant KYC experience required

  • A good understanding of the global financial services industry and debt capital markets although training will be given where needed

  • A background in transaction banking and in a securities and/or equities environment is preferable

  • Proven skills in Microsoft Excel with the ability to produce periodic metrics as necessary

  • The ability to work under pressure, excellent communication skills, with an ability to articulate clearly in accordance with any given audience

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Santa Ana, CA office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in California is 70,000 to 110,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
