CIS Specialized Child Care Services (SCC) is part of the continuum of CIS coordinated services offered for populations of children aged six (6) weeks through age thirteen (13). The CIS Specialized Child Care Coordinator holds primary responsibility to provide oversight and support for eligibility, consultation, and content expertise regarding the provision of specialized childcare services and supports in their region. The CIS Specialized Child Care Coordinator is responsible for providing services in a collaborative team environment, which includes the childcare provider, the family/foster family or primary care provider, and any other relevant service provider. The specific populations identified for these services, irrespective of their participation in the State’s Child Care Financial Assistance Program (CCFAP), include the following: children with open cases with the Family Services Division (FSD) of the Department for Children and Families (DCF); children with special physical, behavioral, and/or developmental needs; and families experiencing significant, short-term stress. Additionally, the CIS Specialized Child Care Coordinator shall work to increase the capacity and quality of specialized childcare providers and increase the placement stability and inclusion for children with identified specialized needs.

This position is hybrid remote and will entail making frequent home visits.

A Bachelor's Degree or higher is required.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
