Kiddie Academy of Snoqualmie is opening its door and has an exciting leadership opportunity for an energetic, organized, experienced and inspiring professional to join us as Curriculum Director. This position allows you to lead a team of qualified teachers and administrative staff in providing the best learning and development experience for children and their families. Position Overview:

As an Curriculum Director, you will be part of the management team responsible for managing the overall program including human resource development, staff scheduling, program planning, program implementation and evaluation; student assessments, family relations, marketing, enrollment and academy operations. We provide a thorough orientation process to introduce you to our program and we foster the continuing education of all our employees.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum two (2) years of full-time experience as Director/Assistant Director in a large (>100 capacity) center-based programs.
• A thorough knowledge of WA Licensing regulations (WACs) for childcare centers and a great understanding of developmentally appropriate practices
• Must have at least an AA degree or ECE certification (47+ credits) in childcare field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Action oriented, organized, strategic thinker, focused on getting the right things done
• Assist teachers in planning and implementation of Life Essentials - our developmentally appropriate curriculum
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Current and cleared TB test by first day of employment
• Proof of MMR immunization by first day of employment
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers permit, Blood-borne Pathogens certification within first 90 days
• Clean background check and good references.
• STARS/MERIT participation per state guidelines
