Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Supports the classification and proper handling of chemicals, ensuring compatibility and appropriate packaging for transportation, while completing necessary documentation for each task.
• Prepares supplies required for job execution and travels to various sites, including industry, laboratory, and educational facilities, to carry out lab pack services.
• Assists in the evaluation and characterization of materials at field project locations.
• Demonstrates compliance with hazardous materials transportation regulations, including accurate placarding and load segregation.
• Establishes and nurtures positive relationships with clients through effective communication and understanding of their needs.
• Provides guidance to Field Technicians/Drivers involved in waste collection activities.
• Develops introductory knowledge of managing and assessing high hazard materials, as well as handling cylinders.

Qualifications:

• Science Degree (environmental or science majors preferred, but MUST have taken chemistry courses)
• Willingness to travel to and from sites to perform field work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,740.00 - $45,760.00 per year
