JOB DESCRIPTION:

For over 30 years, Kolder, Slaven & Company, LLC has been a trusted advisor to individuals and businesses throughout Louisiana, with locations in Lafayette, Baton Rouge, Abbeville, Alexandria,
Morgan City, New Iberia and Ville Platte.

We are recruiting a Tax and Audit manager for our Baton Rouge location.

The manager will complete and supervise a variety of tax, audit or other assignments including: prepare and review Corporate, Partnership and Individual income tax returns; perform audit planning, fieldwork, staff supervision, and report preparation and delivery; perform tax planning and accounting research; mentor and motivate staff by providing performance feedback, supervision, review and training; develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients.

Additionally, we have job openings available at each of our locations and are currently recruiting self- motivated staff accountants who want to become forward-thinking business advisors to work in our tax and audit departments.

MANAGER JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to adapt to multiple software applications and work independently on challenging projects
  • CPA License
  • Excellent communication, time management, critical thinking, and organizational skills
  • Experience in public accounting
