Peter Becker Community is offering a FREE Nurse Aide Training program s. This program prepares the employee to take the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) certification exam.
This is a paid position – there are 5 positions available!
Missing any clinical or classroom time will result in an incomplete status of the class and will be considered ineligible for certification.

We are looking for nursing assistant trainees who are interested in serving our mission of meeting the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of all members of the Peter Becker Community and are dedicated to our core values of service, integrity, simplicity, and love.

Applicants must be interviewed and selected for the program. At the completion of the program there will be an opportunity to work as a CNA for Peter Becker Community.

Those selected for the program will be required to complete the following items:

PA Criminal Background Check
(FBI clearance will be required if you have resided in PA for less than 2 years)
PA Residency Verification Form
Pre-employment paperwork

Post-Offer Employment Screening:
(Physical, Drug Testing, 2-Step PPD, Flu Shot)

Requirements:
High School diploma preferred
Ability to follow regulatory guidelines for the department.
Experience working with older adults a plus.
Ability to encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously has ability to prioritize work and to address emergencies as they may occur.
