Job Description:

The Ivy at Davenport is looking for a caring, compassionate, and patient-focused Certified Dietary Manager (CDM). We are a small skilled nursing facility in the Davenport, IA Area seeking a leader to transform our Dietary Department. We are seeking a leader who can build up a team, lead them to success, and provide high quality services to the facility residents. Potential candidates should posses proven experience in leading teams. They should know how to build up team members and empower them to provide high quality services to our residents. Responsibilities:

• Managing daily food service operations
• Interviewing with, training or recruiting staff
• Interacting with customers to ensure they are satisfied with the food provided
• Organizing staff working schedules
• Offering nutritional consultations to customers and developing client-specific dietary programs and diverse eating options
• Establishing a budget and working within its confines
• Ensuring safe storage and preparation of food, that meet all standards and guidelines
• Purchasing supplies and equipment

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Certification by the Association of Nutrition and Food Service Professionals.
• Completion of a Certified Dietary Manager Exam.
• 2+ years in foodservice management.
• Good mathematical skills.
• Highly organized and responsible.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
