Full and Part time positions available

Hours: 7am-330pm/3pm-1130pm/11pm-730am

Days and Evening: $22-24 per hour plus $2500 hire on bonus

NOC: $25 per hour plus $3000 hire on Bonus

DUTIES:

• Provide compassionate resident care as necessary or as directed by the Wellness Director and Care Coordinator.
• Assists residents in activities of daily living (ADLs) and documents in medical record
• Answers resident call lights promptly
• Keeps resident rooms neat and safe
• Checks residents routinely to ensure that their personal care needs are being met
• Maintains the confidentiality of all resident information
• Assists with patient transfers as necessary
• Creates and maintains a calm atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis throughout the unit and shift
• Reports complaints or grievances made by residents to supervisor
• Ensures the resident rooms are ready to receiving incoming residents (i.e., bed made, name tags up, etc.)
• Communicates professionally with residents, families and staff
• Current CPR/First Aid certificate and update as needed. (Class will be provided by Empress).
• Nurse Delegation Certification Core Basic and Diabetes Required for Med Tech positions
• Mental Health and Dementia Specialty Courses required within 90 days of hire
• · Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations.

ABOUT EMPRESS SENIOR LIVING

Built in 2021, Empress Senior Living is a new Assisted Living and Memory Care community located in the Laurelhurst neighborhood of North East Seattle. The architectural design pays homage to the classic neighborhood masonry commercial buildings common in Seattle neighborhoods with housing above the store. The goal was to achieve a familiar scale and character that would blend into the surrounding residential neighborhood by the careful selection of the building colors and materials.

Empress Senior Living is managed by a partnership between Empress Senior Living LLC of Seattle, WA and Elegance Living LLC of Baltimore, MD. The partnership combines to create the best of both worlds in senior housing management, with all of the economies of scale of a large corporation but with the responsiveness of local leadership, delivering a nimble boutique senior living experience unmatched in the marketplace.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
