Friendship Village Tempe is seeking a Short Order Line Cook to join our team Full-time!

Schedule: ***** Requires Open Availability ***** (cannot have any days or times that you are not available to be scheduled if needed)

Starting Pay: $18.10 to 20.27/hour, based on experience

SUMMARY: Responsible for cooking for all Dining Service venues. Produce all bulk production using standardized recipes. Provide high quality product to residents and guests of Friendship Village Tempe at scheduled meals and special events. Prepares and cooks all foods in accordance with specified recipes and procedures. Assures that foods served meet standards of portions, proper temperature, freshness and presentation. Will be working in many areas of the kitchen, must be flexible with shift and times. Will responsible for covering days off in other areas of operation of the kitchen.

Education and/or Experience Required:

• Minimum 2 years working as a cook in a restaurant/catering environment.
• Culinary degree preferred.
• High School Graduate or GED is preferred.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hire

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
