We are currently seeking a Front of House Cafe Lead to join our Kilauea Market + Café team!

The Front of House Cafe Lead will be responsible to uphold all company service standards while providing and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Assists the Cafe Manager in the day to day supervision of cafe operations and assists employees. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Supervises cafe and all related areas in the absence of the Cafe Manager.
• Follow proper procedures for daily invoice review and logging, price review, ordering/receiving, tracking waste and spoilage, keeping par levels.
• Understanding reports to keep on track of the daily sales goals and weekly targets.
• Knowledgeable of policies, procedures and expectations as detailed in our guiding principles and employee handbook.
• Communicates to Kitchen Manager and Store Manager regarding any issues, escalating issues when needed.
• Assists with duties such as ordering of product, adjusting schedule changes and related responsibilities.
• Follow proper cash handling procedures, including cash-outs, counting banks, counting safe, and completing change orders.

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant serving and/or barista experience required.
• Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills, performing work accurately and efficiently while meeting deadlines.
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work independently and on a team.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
• Must comply with all company policies and requirements.
• Must possess valid TB Clearance.
