Job Description
Performs a variety of independent, specialized business support duties for the assigned department or office.
Executes, documents and reports on business and fiscal operations.
Understands how the team integrates with others to accomplish team objectives.
Researches information, collects data, and prepares analyses/reports (e.g., data, budget, billing, purchasing), as assigned.
Completes routine tasks and assignments.
Provides solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on practice and existing precedents or procedures.
Impacts the quality, timeliness and effectiveness of the team.
Explains information to and within the team, noting improvements, efficiencies, anomalies, etc. to manager/supervisor and/or appropriate team member.
Serves as a liaison inside and outside the team when resolving routine matters.
Understands and follows University of Missouri System financial policies.

Shift
40 Hours / Per Week. M-F 8:00AM – 5:00PM.
Salary
Pay commensurate with education and experience.
Hiring Range: $16.23 - $18.54 Hourly

University Title: Business Support Specialist II
Minimum Qualifications
An Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree, experience in Accounts Receivable, and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and PeopleSoft.
