Job Description Summary

The Innovation and Engagement Business Coordinator reports to the Health System Executive Director of Finance Optimization and Innovation, Chief of Payor Relations, Health System Controller and Health System Chief of Financial Operations. Under indirect supervision, the Coordinator performs routine and specialized business functions to support the Health System Finance Division, specifically, Optimization and Innovation, Engagement, Payor Relations and Cost Reporting and Finance.

Job Description

The Innovation and Engagement Business Coordinator reports to the Health System Executive Director of Finance Optimization and Innovation, Chief of Payor Relations, Health System Controller and Health System Chief of Financial Operations. Under indirect supervision, the Coordinator performs routine and specialized business functions to support the Health System Finance Division, specifically, Optimization and Innovation, Engagement, Payor Relations and Cost Reporting and Finance. With limited supervision, this position is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring and completion of Health System Finance projects and reporting, employee engagement functions and activities, building projects and activities, accounts payable, payroll, human resources and personnel and procurement actions. This role assists with additional assignments as requested.

Additional Job Description

A high school diploma and five years relevant experience in business management, project management or administrative services; or a bachelor’s degree and three years’ experience in business management, project management or administrative services. Previous experience in employee engagement preferred. Must possess excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills; a strong understanding of project management principals; excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work across broad organizational levels with both technical and functional staff. Required technical knowledge to include a basic understanding of personal computers
