Volusia Transit Janitorial
We are looking to hire a hard-working Janitor to keep our busses functionally and aesthetically intact. The Janitor will ensure the busses are clean and well-maintained following a specific checklist of duties. The Janitor will sweep and mop the bus floors of both full sized and mid-sized public busses and special needs busses. The Janitor will also clean all handles and seats and dispose of any trash left over from the day’s route. Monday - Friday, 5pm to 2am.
To ensure success you need to prioritize tasks and take pride in your work. Top candidates will be energetic, upstanding, and dexterous.
Janitor Responsibilities:
- Sweeping and mopping bus floors
- Cleaning the handles and seats
- Disposing of trash
- Maintaining cleaning equipment.
- Maintaining inventory of cleaning agents and equipment.
Janitor Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and agents.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Physically agile and dexterous.
- Resilient to cleaning agents and chemicals.
