As the Brand Sales Specialist, you will support the Brand Sales Team by managing Tier 3 accounts, performing research to generate, and identify new leads. You will assist each step of the sales process with promotions and sales activities while supporting the strategic direction to increase the sales of Unifi’s Premium Value Added (PVA) products globally.

How will you play an integral role?

  • Manage small “Tier 3” Brand Sales accounts: defined as start-ups, small accounts, leads, and inside sales
  • Lead generation: manage all leads coming through from website, TexBase, and customer calls
  • Provide market and brand research/knowledge on trends, innovation, and industry updates
  • Support the Brand Sales Team on all accounts: setting up or leading Unifi tours, gathering samples, helping projects move forward with other teams, pull data or do research, market shopping, or other business-generating tasks
  • Work cross-functionally and with global internal and external partners to create compelling, persuasive sales presentations addressing customer category specific needs
  • Develop a deep understanding of the fiber market, focusing on current and emerging trends
  • Reports to Director Brand Sales while supporting Vice President Brand Sales as needed

Are you qualified for the position?

  • Education: 4-year degree is required with a preferred major in Business, Sales, Project Management, or Sustainability
  • Experience: Customer interaction and experience or sales support. Leading and managing multiple projects. Passion for sustainability and working with brands preferred.
  • Skills/Competencies: Comfortable presenting and speaking in front of groups and meeting new people
    • Effective business leader able to manage and be accountable for projects and accounts
    • Able to create sales tools such as presentations, documents, and kits
    • Very organized, self-sufficient, and goal-oriented
    • Excellent people and management skills to interact cross-functionally, with internal and external partners
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Interest in pursuing a career in sales and account management
    • Ability to travel to Unifi sites as needed: Reidsville, Madison, Yadkinville
    • Willingness to travel (10%) as needed to customers or trade events
