Platinum Powersports is a family owned business for over 10 years with two west/southwest Michigan locations. We have a small, tight knit team who like to have fun and make an impact!
In our Coloma location, we are an authorized dealer for Godfrey pontoons, Hurricane deck boats, Yamaha powersports and watercraft, Suzuki powersports and outboards.
Our Rockford location is an authorized dealer for Yamaha powersports, CF Moto, Husquvarna, and GasGas. We are one of the largest Yamaha dealers in the nation!
We are looking for a full time Marine Technician at our Coloma, MI location. If you are well versed in outboards and are an enthusiast that enjoys lake life as much as we do, this could be the spot for you!
Hours: M,T,Th,Fr 8:30-5:30, Saturdays 8:30-3
As a technician you will be asked to perform quality services on various marine or powersport units. Technicians are hands-on and they perform inspections, basic care maintenance (oil changes, engine repairs etc:), testing, and diagnosing more complex problems. The successful candidate will be rigging and prepping boats for sale, post rigging/preparing boats for delivery, and assisting with boat deliveries to customers. The candidate will also perform troubleshooting and repairs on outboard engines. This is a highly responsible position that requires high attention to detail, safety, efficiency, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
