The team at Myticas Consulting is looking to hire a DevOps Developer who is excited about software engineering and developing automation that creates efficiencies for our development team.

This role works with diverse cloud and on-premises technologies and programming languages. The most important skill is an ability to learn and apply software engineering practices to assist with building processes that are easier to maintain. The organization is a distributed team working across multiple countries and time zones so having the right collaboration skills is important.

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate he/she has the skills to be able to succeed on a setting like this. Being able to know what channel to use for communication, and what information is important to communicate, are just of the few things to consider. As you would expect, we are an Agile organization, and we emphasize the creation of value. We use tools such as Jira for task management, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom to collaborate.

The candidate who joins needs to be familiar enough with Agile practices and/or experience with these communication technologies.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software development, engineering, or a related technical field
• Some experience with any of the following technologies: Akamai WAF, Akamai CDN Windows Load Balancer, Windows IIS Server Azure Web Apps, Azure Function Apps, Azure Cosmos DB Azure Gateway, Azure Load Balancer, Azure Virtual Networks Certificates DNS SQL Server Docker Terraform for Azure TeamCity, Azure DevOps, Nexus, Ansible SumoLogic, New Relic, Sentry Experience on writing algorithms/procedures using any programming language
• Familiarity with modern CI/CD processes Experience with source control tools (Git) Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code
