Myticas Consulting is currently seeking a Desktop Software Deployment Project Manager for a contract position with our direct client based in Waukegan, IL (Hybrid).

Purpose:
Release Manager will be responsible for planning, execution and management of Small to Medium projects to support line of business and enterprise level desktop software and tools deployment in the spaces of Infrastructure, Architecture, Identify Management, and Endpoint Engineering. Expedite, manage and coordinate a multitude of interrelated project activities within constraints and changing priorities to ensure successful completion of projects.
Required Skills:
- Initiate and Plan IT Projects: Works with business and IT management to establish and gain consensus on project goals, objectives, and deliverables.
- Manage risk and assess the degree to which changes impact project deliverables and end-users and ensure team consensus.
- Communicate project progress via weekly status reports and provide decision support and issue resolution.
- Obtain and coordinate resources to ensure tasks in the work plan are effectively assigned and tracked to completion including cross-functional teams.

- Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Agile or PMP certification
- Previous experience at AbbVie
