A Pearl Bell Attendant reports directly to the Front Office Manager and is responsible for fostering the Pearl culture within the valet department for Pearl Hospitality. A Pearl Bell Attendant must ignite the human spirit by creating unrivaled hospitality experiences fueled by fun, enthusiasm and compassion that challenge each person to unlock their own potential.

The Bell Attendant is responsible to provide exceptional customer satisfaction by serving guests in a hospitable manner to ensure positive guest experience during arrival and departure. The Bell department must be executed at the highest level of professionalism and courtesy. The Bell Attendant must drive results through proper guest care that meets or beats Pearl and brand standards. The Bell Attendant must ensure that our associates and customers are treated with the utmost respect at all times since they are the key to our success.

  • Wear approved uniforms and name tags, make sure they are crisp, clean and pressed as if you are attending a graduation ceremony.

  • Answer and document all calls and requests for Valet and Bell assistance
  • Execute group luggage delivery/pick-up
  • Ensure proper security of guest’s vehicle keys and belongings
  • Directly responsible for ensuring that the guest is welcomed and that his/her luggage and other immediate needs are cared for.
  • Directly responsibility for carrying the guest's luggage to and from the assigned room, and for ensuring that the guest is properly settled in a room
  • Greet and escort guests to rooms, as well as open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving property.
  • Identify and explain room features to guests (e.g., use of room key, mini-bar, ice and vending areas, in-room safe, valet laundry services).
  • Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/or designated bell area. Assist with luggage storage and retrieval.
  • Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including assisting guests with loading/unloading luggage. *Supply guests with directions to and from
  • Arrange transportation (e.g., taxi cab, shuttle bus, limousine/sedan service) for guests/visitors, and record advance transportation request as needed.
  • Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors.
  • Run between pick up and drop off of vehicle
  • Interact positively with customers and take action to resolve issues to maintain high guest satisfaction
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
  • Perform other tasks that are deemed necessary to the success of Pearl, the hotel and the associates

Physical Requirements - (not limited to)

  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, crawl, reach above and below shoulders, repetitive arm and wrist use, climb ladders and stairs, and walk on uneven surfaces.
  • Must be able to operate motor vehicle using safety precautions.
  • Must be able to recognize, register, and respond visually to color and depth perception.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to work indoor, outdoor, in extreme heat and cold.
  • Must be able to work around moderate noise level.
