Job description
- Education, Experience, Certifications:
- MS in physical sciences/engineering or equivalent work experience
- At least 10 years industrial experience in battery or fuel cell development and commercialization
- Experience an innovation lab, product development group, or production environment in an industrial environment.
- Solid understanding of first principles of battery design and operation
- Strong leadership skills and ability to direct small engineering teams toward a common goal in a fast paced, demanding environment.
- Experience with any electrochemical devices preferred.
- Experience with FMEA and other failure analysis techniques, six sigma/statistical process controls, etc. are highly desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to speak effectively before groups, and to communicate professionally with colleagues and managers.
- Must be comfortable with hands-on working environment in test lab setting for battery products.
- Hands on experience with SQL databases and Python preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
