Our company is looking for an experienced Service Technician who will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of our customer's automotive service equipment (car lifts, tire changers, wheel balancers, compressors, fluid management systems, etc.). The Service Technician will be required to handle service calls, equipment installations (at dealerships, auto repair shops, residences, etc.), maintain quality control, and keep track of the labor performed and parts used on each job (invoicing handled by office staff). This is a hands on, outside the office position and the right candidate will have mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

• Work under pressure and in extreme temperatures to repair, troubleshoot, and diagnose repairs for customer's equipment.
• Haul and maneuver large items.
• Occasionally travel to neighbor islands to complete service calls, installations, etc.
• Maintain a clean & professional image while on the job (uniform shirt is provided, proper grooming required).
• Maintain a safe environment while on the job, have great self-awareness and be proactive in minimizing accidents, injuries, damages to equipment, etc.

Qualifications (preferred but not required):

• Knowledgeable of industrial hand tools and techniques.
• Be able to drive a forklift and/or scissor lift (certification preferred).
• Previous work experience at an automotive repair shop/dealership is preferred (have used a two-post lift, tire changer, wheel balancer, etc. before).
• Able to drive company vehicles and transport equipment on a flatbed truck.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
