GREAT OPPORTUNITY!

NAPA Auto Parts is now hiring for one full-time Auto Parts Retail Associate for our Crescent City, CA. location.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The primary duties and responsibilities of the Auto Parts Retail Associate are to fulfill customer automotive parts needs in the most efficient and accurate manner by:

• Responding to customer parts or information requests quickly
• Determining availability and price information
• Providing parts to customer from stock or by placing an order
• Correctly documenting and completing part sale on parts invoice
• Monitoring the status of customer orders, advising in case of problems and notifying upon arrival
• Assisting other associates with above tasks as possible

SKILL, TRAINING, AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Automotive parts experience and mechanical aptitude
• Prior experience in customer service
• Basic PC (Personal Computer) access skills and basic understanding of PC systems
• Knowledge and ability to apply basic mathematics
• Ability to communicate via written messages, including neat, legible handwriting
• Multi-tasking ability, especially with interruptions and quick acknowledgments

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The Auto Parts Retail Associate position is fast-paced and can demand several physical attributes including:

• Ability to stand during the majority of an 8-hour shift
• An energy level that will support constant movement throughout the department during the shift
• Ability lift at least 50 pounds
• Ability to periodically work beyond the scheduled 8-hour shift, as directed by Manager or Supervisor.

OTHER DETAILS

· Fulltime: 40 hours per week, some weekend work will be required
