Job description
The Media and Entertainment team is part of J.P. Morgan's Commercial Bank in its Middle Market Banking and Specialized Industries group. In this role you will be supporting Core banking teams nationally with Media & Entertainment industry expertise to help grow existing client relationships along with the acquisition of new relationships. You will work as part of a team to introduce and help manage comprehensive industry focused solutions for clients and prospects.

Job responsibilities
- Supporting senior bankers to cover new and existing client relationships, complete portfolio reviews, develop opportunity memos, build market share and manage internal and external client dialogue
- Engage with bankers nationally and provide industry thought leadership and expertise to clients and prospects
- Establish relationships with investors and professional service providers aligned to the Media & Entertainment ecosystem
- Work closely with the Investment Bank, Capital Markets and Sponsor Coverage teams
- Champion a culture of growth, innovation and a customer centric mindset
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends to identify opportunities for growth and strategic partnerships
- Find ways to further efficiency, effectiveness and collaboration across business lines
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- 3+ years in a similar banking , credit or treasury role, with exceeds level performance
- Has a deep working knowledge of the industry plus our solutions including, but not limited to: Capital Markets, Credit, Treasury Services, International Banking, Syndicated Finance, Commercial Card and Merchant Services
- Exhibits a strong interest in the sector, exceptional work ethic and attention to detail
- Embraces a culture of respect, diversity and inclusion
- Outstanding professional reputation and integrity
- Strong leadership skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor's degree and formal credit training preferred
- Demonstrated ability to develop and retain new and profitable relationships
- Ability to assess risks inherent in complex credit transactions and mitigate, structure and negotiate accordingly
- Superior knowledge of the market dynamics and its business environment landscape preferred
