As an Associate Business Analyst, you will be part of our rotational Associate Business Analyst (ABA) program designed to allow you to gain experience and training in each of the following departments: Pricing, Finance, Business Operations, and Contracts. This program will allow you to explore areas of the enterprise to gain a high-level understanding of both the company and the Aerospace industry. Each rotation will consist of 2-3 months of on-the-job training and work experience. You'll be responsible for completing ABA program learning objectives in each rotation and have the potential to secure a permanent position within one of the teams after completion of the program depending on current openings at the various Sierra Space locations.
Sierra Space, based in Louisville, Colorado with operations in Madison, Wisconsin, Durham, North Carolina, and Kennedy Space Center, Florida, designs and manufactures advanced spacecraft, satellites, propulsion and environmental systems, spacecraft subsystems and components for the U.S. government (including NASA), commercial customers and international organizations.

Must-haves:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field of study
  • Higher level degree may substitute for experience
  • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Microsoft Office software skills, especially Excel
  • Familiarity with utilizing research and analysis methods
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Exposure to interpreting data of a technical/programmatic nature
Preferred:
  • Familiarity with basic finance/accounting concepts (financial statements, rates, ledgers); or
  • Knowledge of government contracting and/or public auditing, procurement, or compliance; or
  • Previous experience in a business/legal professional environment
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required

Physical/Mental/Emotional Requirements:
  • Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps
  • Frequently repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterity
  • Frequently requires vision abilities to include close, distance, depth perception, and telling the difference between colors
  • Rarelyly lifting or carrying up to 20 lbs.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $52,118.00 - $71,662.25
