JOB SUMMARY:
You will be responsible for managing the daily Resort operations, maintaining established costs and quality standards.
  • Hiring and onboarding, to include ongoing training and disciplinary actions, development, and mentoring of leadership and Bluegreen Vacations associates.
  • Monitor leadership staff of the assigned departments ensuring the level of service and SOP's are followed and the necessary action to correct deficiencies promptly.
  • Maintain good working relationships with HOA Board members as well as Sales & Marketing
  • Manage Resort's inventory to attain the highest yield and overall quality.
  • Control costs, adhering to forecasts operating costs are within budgetary guidelines, departmental payroll controls, other expenses while anticipating and documents capital expenditure requirements.
  • Performs any other duties deemed necessary by the Resort Manager.
YOUR EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in both front of the house and back of the house operations
  • Knowledge of P&L statements and the ability to react with impactful strategies
  • Two years minimum in a Hospitality leadership role in a hotel or Resort.
  • Sales background strongly preferred
  • Daily operations of the front desk, reservations, and problem resolution.
  • Must be able to develop management staff, planning, and organization skills.
