Job Summary:

The Assembler will assemble manufacturing products and pack according to specification.

Job Requirements: • Must be 18 years of age or older. • Must have the legal right to work in the United States of America • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship will be an asset.

Duties/Responsibilities: • Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products. • Uses various machines and hand tools such as a handheld screw, drill gun and rivet tools to accomplish assigned tasks.

• Assemble equipment and products according to engineering specification changes. • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures. • Periodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisor. • Maintain a clean and orderly work area

Qualifications and Skills: • Must have experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers, and other tools as assigned). • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics. • Must have your own tools or willing to purchase personal tools is required. • Knowledge of basic electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical skills required. • Knowledge on how to operate a pallet jack and determine material types and thickness • Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use personal protective equipment • Adherence to all quality systems procedures and policies • Attendance/Punctuality – Is consistently at work and on-time. • Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision. • Performs all tasks efficiently and in a timely manner

Physical Requirements: • Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items. • Prolonged periods lifting, reaching, bending, and pushing. • Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks. • Must have manual dexterity to assemble products. • Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components. • Must have excellent hand-eye coordination. • Must wear gloves and hearing protection

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• North Salt Lake, UT: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
