Job description
ICF is seeking an Army Force Provider technician to support one of our government clients. This position will require travel OCONUS (4-month rotational deployments at a time). Example countries are Iraq, Qatar, . Department of State pay differentials as well as overtime are paid.
Skills and Experience - Required
  • U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal contract
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD clearance
  • 3 years of work experience required
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Prior OCONUS experience highly desirable
  • Knowledge of Base Camp Design/set-up
  • Knowledge of standard operating procedure for Military Practices
  • Knowledge of Containerized System Integration
  • Knowledge of Product level drawing checking experience
  • Experience in preparing documentation to support engineering changes
  • Functional knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Problem solving skills
  • Configuration Control knowledge
  • Knowledge of Preservation and Packaging
  • Heating and Air-conditioning (H-VAC Systems)
  • Power Generation
  • Water Storage/Distribution Systems
  • Gray/Black water distribution systems
  • Mobile Hygiene Facilities (Showers, Latrines, laundries)
  • Tactical and semi mobile shelter systems
  • Aerial delivery systems
  • Large semi-mobile shelters
  • Family of Space Heaters
  • Gray/Black water knowledge
  • licensed to operate government vehicles, to include commercial vehicles (sedan, van, pick-up truck) and various types of material handling equipment (up to a 10,000 lb forklift
  • Testing and evaluation of current and new equipment programs
  • Monitoring ongoing production
  • Design of selected equipment
  • Conduct field equipment assessments, minor field repairs, assist in set up, refurbishment of equipment to 10/20 standards (fully functional and refurbished) and repack (per the appropriate technical manual for the affected item).
  • Train military and civilian personnel on the use of PM-FSS and related equipment
  • Assist in the setup of equipment, maintenance, and the conduct of equipment assessment
  • Have a functional knowledge of motors, pumps, engines, generators, fluid flow, HVAC, EPA guidelines,
  • Safety practices, base camp design, packaging, preservation, inventory procedures, accountability
  • Mobile Hygiene Facilities (Showers, Latrines, Laundries)
  • Share lessons learned from their projects with other Technicians and the PM-FSS and CFSET
  • Support (as required) PM-FSS and CFSET annual program reviews
  • Standards, electricity, material handling equipment (forklifts, etc.) and other associated information

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:
$56,467.00 - $95,993.00
