Office Assistant/Appointment Setter
Davis & Wallman Financial, LLC (an Agency within the Horace Mann Companies) – Rensselaer, IN
Position Description:
The Office Assistant/Appointment Setter for Davis & Wallman Financial provides administrative assistance and support to the sales team’s office functions and sales objectives. This position requires an individual to be a self-starter that is motivated and highly organized, must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be a team player. This individual must maintain sound judgment and problem-solving skills working within office guidelines.
Requirements:
- High school education (or equivalent)
- 2 – 5 years related administrative support experience required
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, working knowledge of data bases)
- Time management skills with emphasis on consistent accuracy and attention to detail
- Client service oriented
- Ability to efficiently balance multiple and varied tasks, handle interruptions and meet deadlines
- Dependable and self-motivated to succeed
- Must qualify for and obtain Personal Lines insurance license before start date
- Capable of taking initiative, assuming responsibility and handling confidential information with discretion
- Ability to manage multiple calendars, schedule appointments, and prep for meetings
- Sales experience a plus
Compensation Description:
- Wage commensurate with experience
- Annual bonus based upon goals
- Monday – Friday/40-hour week

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
