Sid Dillon Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Fiat of Lincoln is currently seeking ​a GM automotive steering and suspension technician to become an integral part of our team! We offer a very aggressive pay plan. The right people will be extremely positive and want to succeed in a team environment.

We are looking for experienced dedicated service professionals to help grow our booming service department and provide our customers with exceptional experiences. The ideal candidate will flourish in a fast-paced and professional workplace.

Responsibilities of Automotive Steering and Suspension Technician:

•Test drive, diagnose and repair automotive vehicles

•Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance

•Provide repair and time estimates for automotive repairs

•Communicate using electronic tools provided to track time and create required documentation.

•Executing repairs under warranty following all manufacturers Policies and Procedures.

•Inspect and test vehicles for necessary adjustments

•Raise trucks, cars, and heavy parts or equipment using hydraulic jacks or hoists.

•Continue to learn and take manufacturer trained courses to stay up to date on the newest automotive tools, equipment, and technology.

•Take or stay current with ASE Certifications in areas of expertise. (We have a Reimbursement program)

•Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.

Qualifications of Automotive Steering and Suspension Technician:

•Previous experience as an automotive technician, mechanic, or other related fields

•Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment and tools

•Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

•Deadline and detail-oriented

•Exceptional customer service skills

•Basic computer skills

•Excellent oral and written communication skills

•Team player

•Must have a valid driver’s license

•Able to run diagnostics equipment

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
