Sage Ag Inc. is currently seeking hardworking, self-motivated, & detailed oriented individuals who are passionate about agriculture & machinery. Through this position, you will be working with a major agricultural machinery manufacturer in an experimental test farm environment. In this exciting position, you will be training individuals on how to safely and effectively operate farm equipment. Additionally, you will be coordinating and scheduling training events to educate groups on various technology and vehicles for farming applications and practices. This position is based in Ankeny, IA.Responsibilities:

Training individuals that may have limited experience or knowledge in equipment operation
Educating others on vehicles, implements and technology used for farming applications
Coordination and scheduling of training events
Document and report customer use cases of how equipment is used in production ag settings
Equipment and vehicle operation in farming applications like tilling, planting, spraying, and harvesting

Requirements:
Minimum of 125 hours of agricultural machinery operation
Vehicle operation including, but not limited to, tilling, planting, spraying, and harvesting equipment
Minimum GPA of 2.5 in an Agriculture Major, or related major with equivalent Ag experience
Experience in setting up, executing, and interpreting vehicle technology
Experience in Ag Education, teaching, or training small and large groups is preferred
Good understanding of safe operation of farm equipment
Good understanding of various farm equipment, technology and practices in production ag setting
Valid U.S. Driver’s License w/ clean driving record
Out-going and positive attitude
Skilled in computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent communication and group presentation skills
Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Minimal travel required

Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching/training experience on farm vehicles, technology and practices
Experience recording and editing video
Experience with root cause analysis tools
Knowledge of operator controls and components in cabs of off-road vehicles
