Role: Coordinates and performs all daily account processes which require all plastic card account functions and electronic funds transfer technology for member financial transactions.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • 30% Process and maintain all Electronic member and credit union transactions including but not limited to ACH, Member Share Drafts, Wire Transfers, and Mobile Deposits according to regulatory rules including but not limited to Regulation E, NACHA, BSA, and OFAC. Responsible for handling COASP email notifications to confirm account holder. Handle Zelle inquiries and resolve Zelle issues.
  • 30% Process approved VISA Credit, VISA Debit and ATM card applications. This includes ordering of cards, setting up system access and maintenance on accounts as well as blocking cards. Review daily card usage reports including but not limited to Case Tracker and Enfact emails to ensure member account activity limits unauthorized transactions and minimizes loss to the credit union.
  • 25% Assist members and staff to resolve account concerns and/or problems handled in Admin Services Center. Provide support to staff and members for the processing of VISA charge-back transactions and disputes. Monitor charge-back activity, prepare operations charge-off requests and bond claim documentation.
  • 10% Back up processing of CTRs and/or SARs. Provide assistance to staff and members regarding admin services department, such duties may include but not limited to ACH processing, BSA reporting requirements, member share drafts processing, wire transfers and mobile deposits verification.
  • 5% Complete all assigned Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Training annually and complete other training as assigned specific to the position. Perform other job related duties as assigned.

Performance Measurements:

  • To ensure all transactions are posted within designated timeframes as per regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all member and credit union wire requests are processed timely and per all applicable regulatory requirements including BSA, NACHA and Regulation E.
  • Stay current on all ACH and EFT processing rules and regulations to ensure credit union compliance when processing member transactions.
  • Develop, implement and maintain improved operating efficiency in the EFT areas.
  • Provide prompt, professional, courteous and friendly service to members and co-workers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely, friendly and accurate manner.
  • Actively participate in credit union promotions and outside activities to promote the credit union.
  • Recognize opportunities to cross sell products and services to inform members as appropriate.
  • Demonstrate the willingness to work in a team environment.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience Two years to five years of similar or related experience.

Education A high school education or GED.

Interpersonal Skills Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully perform multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Successfully demonstrates good organizational skills and accurate attention to detail when following policy and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to act in a lead capacity.
  • Current knowledge and awareness of all Credit Union products and services.
  • Knowledge and proficiency with Windows Operating Systems, word processing and spreadsheet software if applicable.
  • Continued knowledge and understanding of all Rules and Regulations that affect Electronic / Online financial transaction services.
