This temporary position is located in Salemburg - Sampson County.

Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $15.76 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).*

This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Public Safety. This position is located at 600 N Main Street, Salemburg, NC 28385.
This position will regularly communicate with mentors and mentees to main healthy and effective relationships and recommend action/ provide assistance where necessary; monitory mentor/mentee match to ensure that both are fulfilling the program obligation; ensure that mentors are submitting assessments monthly by the due date; obtain school/employer verification of graduates quarterly; monitor graduates' progress and adherence to post residential action plans and report problems to TCA; submit closeout letters to mentors/graduates, ensure that files are closed at the end of Post-Residential phase and posted in graduates file. Prepare written reports; perform all other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies

  • Experience operating a personal computer, Must have the ability to run Microsoft Word, Excel, and general Windows programs.
  • Experience in communicating effectively both individually and in a group setting.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining a filing system, to classify, retrieve, and dispose of materials.
  • Experience interpreting data, analyzing/solving problems, and submitting reports.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and one year of administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
