North Eastern Cleaning LLC is a family-owned and operated emergency and catastrophe restoration service company covering the tristate area for over 15 years. North Eastern provides a full range of services and is committed to client satisfaction and professionalism.

We are seeking a full-time, experienced Administrative Assistant to help manage the office’s daily schedule, emails, and other tasks in an efficient and timely manner as well as assist the company's President with his day to day tasks. We are looking for someone to work approximately 40 hours per week with the possibility of additional hours. This individual will have the following responsibilities:

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Drafts confidential correspondence, maintains and updates Excel spreadsheets, statements, etc., and takes meeting minutes and performs related administrative duties.
  • Coordinates executive’s calendar to ensure commitments are met; schedules appointments and makes arrangements for meetings; facilitate travel arrangements, as required.
  • Receives and reviews verbal and written information requests and releases information based on appropriateness; communicates company policy information to requesting parties; informs executives of matters requiring personal attention.
  • Creates and updates various records and documentation, ensuring accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Conducts research, compiling data from various internal/external sources; prepares materials for consideration and presentation by executives.
  • Participates in departmental projects, including assisting in the preparation of budgets and monitoring expenditures.
  • Maintains executive office inventory and initiates supply requisitions.
  • Serves as a liaison between executive leadership, managers, and other internal/external stakeholders; facilitates issue resolution, taking independent action, and determining the appropriate course of action, as needed.
  • Answers Office Phone, distribute calls and messages for executives accordingly
  • Performs related duties as required.

Job Qualification - (A Skills Test is Required for consideration of this position)

  • Associate's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, required
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Confidentiality is required as is thinking in the best interest of the owner at all times.
  • Proficiency with Computers, Internet, Apps, & general knowledge of navigating web portals is an absolute MUST
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is an absolute MUST
  • Advanced skills creating and using formulas in Excel is a must
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills including proper use of grammar and ability to articulate professionally needed
  • Professional administrative experience and project management are a plus.
