Accounts Payable Specialist

This position is based in our home office found in the picturesque shoreline town of Guilford, CT where you will be working alongside a dedicated and loyal team.
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of accounts payable processing
- Ability to multitask
- Exceptional attention to detail while maintaining confidentiality
- Work with both internal and external customers
- Excellent organizational and customer service skills
- Processing and verifying invoices
- Managing vendor payments, printing checks, entering wire transactions and other manual payments into the ERP system
- Reviewing vendor statements and addressing any concerns
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
- 4+ years’ experience in accounts payable.
- Strong communications skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Accuracy in daily work and other projects.
- Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines.
- Adherence to policies, procedures, and instructions.
- Experience with Great Plains preferred.
- Experience with paperless requisition system preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
