RK Service offers on-call planned maintenance and building services for commercial and industrial plumbing, mechanical, HVAC and electrical systems.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assume the responsibility of processing customer invoicing for various business units including flat rates and quotes.
• Process job cost project billing using percentage of completion and completed contracts.
• Understanding of Davis Bacon invoicing.
• Prepares various reports for management such as outstanding accounts receivables and collections.
• Troubleshoots billing problems and offers constructive solutions to billing inquiries.
• Assist in implementing new processes and procedures in order to improve collections, reduce past due aging to an acceptable level, and reduce average collection days across the department in order to meet internal company goals.
• Initiate and review all customer collection correspondence (monthly statements, collection letters, insufficient fund letters and assessing finance charges).
• Negotiate with customer to resolve outstanding balances securing mutually beneficial payment arrangements to maximize cash collections.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies for customer accounts.
• Ensure specific customer invoice requirements are met to ensure timely processing.
• Contacts customers regarding payments, billing options, account reconciliations, collections, cancellations, and lapses.
• Enlist the effort of sales and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process and customer pricing disputes.
• Assign and update tax categories based on TTR website
• New Customer setup and Customer contact/billing maintenance Work in conjunction with Sales team to ensure Plan Maintenance initial set up, renewals, cancellations and updates are done accurately and timely.
• Other duties as assigned.

Accountability:

• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Prompt, punctual, and regular attendance during core business hours, in an office environment (not a telecommuting position), currently located in the Central Park area of Denver, including a reliable means of transport to and from work. Ability to occasionally travel between corporate offices and jobsites within the Denver Metro Area, during work hours.
• All employees are accountable for safety and health and are empowered to stop work if an unsafe condition is present. Employees should immediately notify their supervisor so that the hazard may be corrected.

Minimum Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment.
• Occasionally may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of skills and experience
• 4 years of relevant work experience in account billing and collections.
• Able to receive direct supervision and guidance.
• Proven experience as billing specialist preferred but not required.
• Comfortable dealing with numbers and the processing of financial information.
• High degree of attention to detail.
• Objectives based on established guidelines, processes and operating procedures.
• Coordinates own tasks with a specific range of responsibilities in accomplishing well defined outcomes.
