Schedule and Location
- Hybrid remote/office work, typically 3 days a week in our DC office.
- Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm
Responsibilities
- Handle core property management duties for a portfolio of residential properties
- Respond to client inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Build brand loyalty within our existing customer base
- Coordinate leasing tours with potential tenants and manage a team of leasing agents
- Provide basic tech support to landlords and tenants who need help troubleshooting our software
- Answer landlord questions regarding financial statements, lease agreements, maintenance projects, leasing strategy, and other matters related to property management
- Coordinate maintenance requests with our vendor network, identify new vendors to add to our network and ensure the proper invoicing procedure
- Provide strategic guidance for landlords regarding leasing activity, rental advertisements, and rent pricing
- Negotiate and execute residential lease agreements between landlords and tenants
- Coordinate move-in logistics for incoming tenants
- Manage property turnovers and light value-add renovations
- Ensure legal compliance for our clients’ rental properties within Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia jurisdictions
- Other related duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 2 Years Experience in a customer-facing or client-facing position with an emphasis on customer service, account management, and/or sales
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Strong organizational skills and detail-attentiveness
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook and Excel, and the ability to learn new software platforms quickly
- Basic experience operating within a CRM, preferably Hubspot, but we are willing to train the right candidate who is eager to learn
- Adept problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Desire to learn and improve every day to help meet ambitious business growth targets
- Basic experience with property management software is preferred but not required. We are more than willing to train the right candidate who is eager to learn and grow into a new industry
