ALPS is looking to hire an Account Manager who has attention to detail, good organizational skills and is quality-driven in customer service experience. We are a dynamic and growing professional liability insurance company. We are looking for someone who is willing to come into our downtown Missoula office. This role is key to ensuring our retention of clients. Account Managers develop relationships with existing customers, initiate contact for renewals and follow-up to market ALPS additional product offerings. There are a handful of tasks at hand to retain these accounts, so being an individual that can manage a variety of changing priorities is a must for this position. The right candidate must be willing/able to get their Property & Casualty Producer License if they don’t already have it. The wage range for this position starts at $40,000 + commission. Requirements:
Minimum Education: Undergraduate degree or equivalent sales/marketing/customer service experience. Current state license or ability to attain licensure to sell insurance.

Minimum Experience: Two year’s work experience in a fast-paced administrative position. Two year’s customer service, telephone sales and/or marketing in a professional business, insurance or agency setting.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of insurance terminology. Excellent telephone, inter-personal communication and writing skills, attention to detail, resourceful and creative, organized and able to multi-task. Ability to anticipate, identify and resolve customer service issues. Able to work as part of a team and independently, delivering excellent customer service to the external and internal customer. Ability to make decisions and prioritize tasks to meet the needs of each customer. A high degree of computer proficiency, adapting quickly to improving technology, and willing to learn.

Other Qualifications: Requires continuing education courses and professional licensure. Adaptable to fast-paced frequently changing corporate and work environment. Professional, self-confident, and uses good judgment. travels and attends company booth at conventions and meetings.
