Maintenance Technician MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform major mechanical and electrical repair on equipment.
- Be able to work within a team environment as well as independently.
- Follow departmental procedures.
- Quality System
- Understand computer-based essentials on utilized maintenance software.
- Utilize trouble shooting techniques and root cause analysis to determine the corrective action.
- Planning and scheduling skills to plan and complete assigned work.
- Rebuild and refurbishment of equipment parts and sub-assembly.
Maintenance Technician EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School graduate or G.E.D
Maintenance Technician EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in the trade of mechanical repair with an electrical background or experience in the trade of an electrician with a strong mechanical background
- Industrial manufacturing experience
- Knowledge/experience with all level shop tools and automated equipment.
- Successful completion of an apprenticeship where you earned a journeyman’s card.
- 8 years of experience in one dedicated craft or multi-craft position.
- Plastic injection molding experience
