We are looking for a 2nd Shift Painter to support our Graphics team in Akron, Ohio.
The LSI Industries location in Akron, OH is the hub for the Printed Retail Graphics & Décor, Digital Solutions, and Adapt Program Implementation businesses. These businesses provide turnkey product and service solutions into the Quick Serve Restaurant, Grocery & Pharmacy, and Retail Petroleum & Convenience Store vertical markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow all company policies and safety rules
- Able to read and understand work orders and manufacturing specs
- Able to read a standard tape measure
- Able to pass medical questionnaire and fit test for respirator; minimal facial hair to ensure good respirator fit
- Knowledge of the use of a gravity fed spray gun
- Understand the painting techniques on all substrates painted at location
- To have an eye for color samples used to match color approval
- Operate Binks spray & cure booth
- Maintain a clean facility – good housekeeping habits required
Education and/or Experience:
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
