The grocery department at our company is looking for a savvy, energetic and positive manager who is capable of keeping the location running smoothly. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in inventory control, have a strong interest in customer service and be capable of train and lead a growing staff. The Grocery Manager is responsible for organizing staff schedules and maintaining the store's cleanliness, as well as overseeing the daily operations of the location.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of each store.
• Track sales and inventory levels and make appropriate adjustments.
• Manage the cashier staff and plan schedules to ensure good customer service.
• Keep financial records and make certain they are accurate.
• Communicate with stores' upper management.
• Train staff in customer service and merchandising techniques.
• Make recommendations to upper management regarding the hiring and training of staff.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of each store.
• Oversee the cashier staff, ensuring that each individual is working at their full potential.
• Train and direct employees on customer service techniques.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
