Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health is recruiting for our 2023 Customer Development & Commerce (CDC) Co-op. This is an ideal role for students majoring in Business, Business Analytics, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance or Information Technology.


Johnson & Johnson New Planned Consumer Health Company, based in Skillman, N.J., is one of the world's largest consumer health and personal care products company. On November 12, 2021, Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with employee representative bodies, as required, and other customary conditions, and approvals. It is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you will be an employee of an entity within the newly created Consumer Health company and your employment will be governed by that company’s employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

We are recruiting for our 2023 Customer Development & Commerce (CDC) Co-op. The Co-op Program is a six-month experience designed to help college students develop leadership, analytical and communication skills through practical business experience and ongoing training & development, coaching and mentorship. This role will enable the student to have real-life work application of concepts and theories learned in the classroom. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) assignment offered both during the Spring (January 2023 – June 2023) or Fall (July 2023 – December 2023).


As a CDC Co-op, you will:


Work within a dynamic team to identify and execute omni-channel business-building opportunities for key retailers across Food, Drug, Mass, Specialty and Omni such as Kroger, Walgreens, CVS, Target, Walmart and Amazon.

Work cross-functionally with internal partners including Marketing, Customer Strategy, Supply Chain, Sales Operations and IT.

Develop strong Retailer, Category and Shopper analytical and insights skills by working with a variety of data sources, including IRI, Nielsen, POS, and Shopper/Panel

Build technical expertise in data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power PBI, Nielsen Panel, Numerator, and Profitero

Engage in on-going development with an intensive Onboarding Program, Monthly Lunch and Learns, Networking and Mentorship Programs

Be part of our key feeder pool for our CDC Leadership Development Program (multi-year rotational program for college graduates)


As a CDC Co-op, some of your key responsibilities would be:


Analyzing data to understand business drivers and trends, assisting with the management of promotional display programs

Reporting and evaluating monthly sales versus forecast activity, supporting the new item launch process, supporting Sales Operations tools

Executing retail and consumer initiatives and additional projects that support our key business initiatives and omni-channel, digital-first strategy

Rogers, AR

Los Angeles, CA

Minneapolis, MN

Qualifications


You should meet the following requirements:


You are legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. and not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B status)

You should be a current undergraduate student in pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree with an expected graduation of 2023-2024 (Rising Junior, or Current Junior)

Concentration major of Marketing, Business-focus or Finance is preferred

You should have a minimum of 3.0 cumulative GPA

You must be willing to commit to a six-month duration - 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday)

Proficient in Windows software applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

The anticipated base pay for this position is between $20/hour and $27.50/hour, but will be based on candidate’s program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. This position is overtime eligible. Co-Ops/Interns may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as medical insurance, sick time, and holiday pay in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
